






Safety Officers wanted for Saudi Arabia
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Safety Engineering or Occupational Safety from a fully accredited and reputed University; OR alternate qualification, B.Sc. in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, from a fully accredited and reputed University, together with internationally accredited diploma/certification in Safety Engineering or Occupational Safety [OSHA or NEBOSH].
Requirements:
Shall have five (5) years of experience in a related field.
Must have experience in the development, oversight and coordination of operational safety programs. Must have experience in occupational safety in the construction and/or maintenance field, and be familiar with risk management and the management of change procedures. Must be able to write safety evaluation and inspection reports to a professional standard, and must be capable of thorough incident investigation and determining causal factors using root cause analysis. Must be knowledgeable of work permit procedures and safety procedures used in hazardous environments, and be familiar with international safety codes. Must be familiar with HAZCOM and HAZMAT. Must also have experience in planning and scheduling.
