Maintenance Supervisor Wanted for UAE

Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Rigid Industries FZC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities across our diverse range of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal functioning of machinery and equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of machines.
Conduct regular inspections of the Factory, machines, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance needs and schedule downtime for repairs.
Manage inventory of spare parts and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues, coordinating with external vendors if necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to enhance workplace safety.
Oversee the maintenance of the factory building, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general infrastructure.
Responsibly handling emergency situations or after-hours calls for repair and maintenance

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Diploma’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Extensive experience in the maintenance of sheet metal fabrication, joinery, and glass processing machineries
In-depth knowledge of a wide range of machinery, including but not limited to laser cutting machines, CNC routers, bending machines, welding machines, and glass processing equipment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.

Experience Required: Machine Maintenance – Minimum 2-3 years
