Responsibilities
● Develop and lead the operation and promotion of an integrated management system, encompassing a pro-active improvement culture in environmental, Utilizing the Sodexo management system policies and procedures, including risk assessment, accident prevention, health initiatives and acknowledged personal responsibility.
● Maintain an Integrated Management System audit programmer for Health & Safety, environmental and Quality standards and to ensure that all units are audited quarterly.
● Compliance to all company/contract, documentation, audits and administration procedures are carried out to the company standard
● Developing and Implementing QHSE Policies: Create, update, and implement quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
● Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting risk assessments, job safety analyses, and environmental impact assessments.
● Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the organization complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards. This involves staying up-to-date with changing regulations and ensuring the organization’s practices align with them.
● Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and contractors on safety, quality, and environmental standards and practices.
● Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and contingency plans for various scenarios such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
● Supplier and Contractor Management: Evaluate and monitor the QHSE performance of suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet the organization’s standards and requirements.
● Communication: Promote a culture of QHSE awareness and responsibility among employees. Ensure that information related to safety, quality, and environmental issues is effectively communicated throughout the organization.
● Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and authorities on QHSE matters. Ensure timely reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
● Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of QHSE programs and track progress over time.
● Qualifications
● Experience in a similar role (min. of 8 to 15 Years) 5 years’ experience in Saudi.
● University graduate – Bachelors or Master level in related major
● Advanced Quality, Health & Safety certification (equivalent to IOSH, chartered body for H&S professionals, Quality management auditor…)
● Capacity to deal with complex projects
● Expertise in constriction management
● Ability to lead a QHSE team with different disciplines
● Computer literate
● Excellent Communication skills
● Fluent in English and any other languages supporting the role
● Process orientated
● Highly analytical
● Other technical requirement
