JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:

BACHELOR’S DEGREE: PREFERABLY IN FOOD SCIENCE, FOOD TECHNOLOGY, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, OR A RELATED FIELD.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: SEVERAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FOOD PRODUCTION OR MANUFACTURING, ESPECIALLY IN FROZEN READY MEALS OR SIMILAR FOOD PRODUCTS.
  • SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE: PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN A SUPERVISORY OR MANAGERIAL ROLE, INCLUDING OVERSIGHT OF PRODUCTION TEAMS AND OPERATIONS.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • KNOWLEDGE OF FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS SUCH AS HACCP, ISO22000, FSSC22000, ETC.
  • UNDERSTANDING OF PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE.
  • FAMILIARITY WITH LEAN MANUFACTURING PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES.
  • EXPERIENCE WITH ERP SYSTEMS SUCH AS ORACLE, SAP, OR SIMILAR PLATFORMS.
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
  • ABILITY TO LEAD, MOTIVATE, AND MANAGE A TEAM.
